Kazuya is the only son of the Murai family. He was born and raised in the city of Ichinomiya located in Chiba. His mother is a regular stay at home mom while his father is a businessman. As years went by, he grew sick of staying at home so he usually spends his time hanging out at the local arcade joint or chilling at the beach as he doesn’t like being around the house because his dad often comes home drunk and Kazuya ends up being the victim of some physical abuse. He remembered that his childhood friend Masa, attends Kairyou High, a local boarding school, so he told his mom that he wanted to enroll there, as an escape from home.

personality

Kazu often gives off a bad first impression due to his abrupt manner. Being able to get past that though, he makes a good friend as he treasures his close friends. He will always have their backs, as the saying goes, ”bros before hoes”. Not being able to stand a messy room, he likes to keep his things organized so he knows where to look for stuff when he needs it. He is a punctual person and has the habit of being at least 10 minutes early before the meet up time. He would rather be the one waiting than let you wait for him and will always put his friends’ needs before his own. Because of his home situation, he always wants to escape the unpleasantness he feels there, which leads him to spending hours hanging out with friends and such. He also somewhat became used to the situation which made him endure the pain and not show it. Kazu’s on neither the failing side nor the passing with flying colors side of his classes. He has an average grade despite all the mischievous pranks he likes to pull in class. He doesn’t put effort in his studies either because he has no clue on what he wants to do in his life. As he dislikes being gossiped about, he tends to keep personal things to himself.
